Your iPad Will Soon Support WhatsApp, Get Ready For The Impending Launch!

WhatsApp has clarified plans for multi-device support, and the latest information indicates that the WhatsApp for iPad is not far off.

According to WABetaInfo, a super reliable source, WhatsApp is working on multi-device 2.0 that will help bring the use of WhatsApp on Apple iPads. This means that support for using the iPad as a “linked device” has been added to the latest beta version available to TestFlight users. This feature is still under development, of which it’s release date hasn’t been mentioned.

In addition to the iPad support itself,
WABetaInfo mentioned that support for Android tablets as well to be included. Overall, WhatsApp can be connected to up to 4 devices. Here, one smartphone is needed, clearly it is needed to start a WhatsApp account and the whole process.

When the feature and App update finally becomes available, you’ll be able to send and receive continuous text even if your smartphone is turned off, as long as you are connected to the internet on the other devices.
This is Facebook’s firm commitment and we hope it will be roll out soon. So hopefully if you finally put your phone in your pocket and the iPad is right in front of you, send a reply or check the thread of the message.
