Telegram 8.0 Beta Released Featuring A Slew Of New Features.

The beta version of Telegram 8.0, which is available for Android and macOS platforms, has begun testing. More features for communicating, managing chats, and reading news feeds have been introduced by the developers to the messenger.

Timeline: You can jump to the next unread news channel with ease. Swipe up when you’ve finished reading one to go on to another that hasn’t been read yet. The function works for both channels in the folder and chats in the general list.

Forwarding a message without the sender’s name: The sender’s name can now be disguised in forwarded messages — a feature that many other messengers have had for a long time. Simply click on the message in the selected conversation to activate the function; nevertheless, the tool’s functionality is still limited.

Advertising labeling: The inscription Sponsored appeared in some posts, indicating advertising messages. This could be a precursor to the appearance of advertising in the service – Pavel Durov has already mentioned it.

The ability to record voice chats: It’s an interesting feature that allows you to record not only the music of audio talks, but also the video sequence that goes with conversations. It will be possible to record in portrait and landscape orientations.

Animate messages using a gradient palette: When users send a message, a gradient of vibrant shades gets animated.

A selection of GIFs that match the emoji: You can now quickly select a GIF image with a comparable meaning instead of an emoji or a sticker.
