As you probably are aware, Windows 11 has increased present expectations for least framework necessities. Because of required TPM 2.0 and Secure boot, gigantic number of devices are contrary with the new operating system. Microsoft has effectively clarified a few times why this choice was made, however it appears to be that that wasn’t sufficient to diminish the level of users dissatisfaction.

A couple of days prior, Microsoft hosted a regular Q&A/AMA session that zeroed in on the best way to upgrade to Windows 11 and deployment tools for enterprises. Specifically, the company affirmed that it plans to obstruct the upgrade path to Windows 11 for unsupported devices. Microsoft is utilizing telemetry data to detect Windows 11 device compatibility.

  • TPM 2.0:

TPM stands for Trusted Platform Module. It is a chip that is integrated into motherboards and CPUs. It intends to provide hardware-level protection. More specifically, it provides a better shot at encrypting storage drives and is therefore effective in fending off cyberattacks. TPM 2.0 chip on board prevented flaws, hacks, and attacks.

Most modern PCs have this setting but it is kept disabled by default. So, in this blog, we’ll talk about how you can check if you have this module and how you can enable it.

  • Secure Boot

In simple terms, Secure Boot is a security standard that ensures that your PC boots using software that is trusted by your PC or laptop’s manufacturer. You must be wondering why this setting is important for installing Windows 11, right?

With Windows 11, Microsoft has become a little stringent with its security measures and therefore requires a computer that has the Secure Boot option enabled.

Microsoft knows it’s frustrating that some people won’t be able to install and run the Windows 11. The company recounts that it has adopted the enforcements to make devices more powerful and secure than ever before. As a result, devices will remain protected in the modern world. Microsoft doesn’t want administrators or consumers to think about compatibility all the time. Microsoft has made some changes so you don’t even have to think about it, as your device will be able to detect it on its own before Windows 11 is made available to you and before you spend time download.

Microsoft’s representative also made a confirmation that the final version of Windows 11, you’ll not be able to bypass the system requirements check by editing the registry in the configuration/WinPE environment.

Microsoft stated that Group Policy (registry modification is a set of policy options) will not allow you to bypass Windows 11 hardware limit. Microsoft will not allow users to upgrade their devices to an unsupported state, security concern cited first.
